Art has been at the center of my life from a very young age. One of my earliest memories is of me sitting on my dad's lap as he sketched a profile of a man on a small notepad. It seemed like magic to me. I was instantly hooked! After that, my parents soon saw a natural talent in me. They did everything they could to nurture what God had given me. Fortunately ( I used to think it was unfortunate), we were financially limited, so I was left for the most part with a number 2 pencil and a package of typing paper. That forced me to learn how to draw. I drew every free moment I had. As an adult, I have been blessed to have had some excellent instructors, but none of them can compare with the one exciting moment when God showed me His beauty and majesty in that simple sketch. My hope is that my art may be a conduit of that beauty.
